About J. Houghton & Son
The firm of J. Houghton & Son has been established well over 100 years and is still run by distant members of the founding family.
The company has always had a reputation for quality, Mr. William Houghton winning a silver medal in the 1902 national harness competition, in recent years we have carried on with this tradition with John Thomas and Bryan Galloway, the present owners successfully competing in the Master Saddlers Competition.
All our harness saddlery and leather goods are made to order to customers own requirements, a few of which are shown on this website.
